Digitalist Number 9 - Article II – Platforms (Continued)

Section 5 - A Platform whose primary function is the hosting of other platforms as a domain registrar, corporation for assigned names and numbers, server and/or storage host, or any combination thereof, shall, at all times, be considered, operate, and conduct business without bias as a Detached Party.

With the recent attempts of server hosts and domain registrars to shut down places like Gab, often with lies about phishing, simply for the content posted by their End Users, I deemed this section to be an essential addition to the document.

It wasn’t part of the first draft, but just like Section 4, the rampant manipulation of these middle-man Platforms for ideological reasons is getting out of hand.  If the content that goes through these kinds of Platforms is something they don’t like, but isn’t illegal, then they should have gotten into another line of work.  It is nothing more than an attempt to police thought, and it is being done through deception and coercion rather than attempting to change minds through discourse
